       新目標(biāo)英語(yǔ)八年級(jí)下第八單元第一課時(shí)教學(xué)實(shí)錄(2011-5-11)

播放第一張幻燈片,伴隨著悠揚(yáng)的音樂(lè)出示課題,教師開(kāi)始上課

Step1 Greeting(教師聲音可以慢一些,讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)懂并慢慢進(jìn)入到學(xué)英語(yǔ)的狀態(tài)中)

T: Good morning , everyone. I am very glad to stand here to have a lesson with you. I hope we will have a good time. This time, we’ll learn Unit8 Why don’t you get her a scarf?(the first period)

T: Before our new lesson, let’s see our learning aims:

The first one: Compare qualities:(對(duì)比品質(zhì)):

We can use this sentence: I think it’s /they’re + boring and so on.

The second one: Giving advice:(提供建議)

    After this lesson, students must learn at least four ways to give advice. And it’s grammar focus in this lesson.

The last one: Giving comments:(給出評(píng)論)

Step3 Warmming-up  Come on for ourselves!

T: We all know English is important. But some students can’t learn it well. Because they are shy. Yes. If you want to learn English well, you must speak loudly. Let’s begin today’s crazy English: Don’t be shy, just try. Open your mouth and let your words fly!

T: Ok , let’s start our new lesson with a question, just try!

What was last Sunday?

S: It was May8th, Mothers’ Day!

T: What did you do for your mom on Mothers’ Day?

S1: I did housework…

S2: I bought my mom some flowers.

T: Oh, I love flowers. Why you got her flowers?

S2: Because I think they are beautiful…

T: Was your mother happy?

S2: Yes….

T: From your questions, I know you are all good students. Yes! Love from moms is the greatest! Moms are always with us. Do you love your mom?

Ss: Yes, of course.

T: You are very confident. Let me check whether it’s true or false! Who knows your mother’s birthday? Please hand up!

如果多數(shù)同學(xué)舉手,教師說(shuō):“Very great! Have you ever got your mom gifts? What are they?”

如果少數(shù)同學(xué)舉手,教師說(shuō):“You should do better. I think every mom knows her or his child’s birthday. Do you think so? But how about us? From this class, I think more students will care about their moms. OK?”

T: Please show us your partner’s opinions. You can use this sentence:

T: Let’s listen to the boy’s opinions and do 1b. Listen and number the comments in the order you hear them. You will listen to it twice. Before listening, you must pay attention to the key words.(播放聽(tīng)力)

The first listening, please number the gifts in the order.

The second listening, please number the comments in the order.

T: Ok! Tell me the answers, please! Who wants to try?

T: Well done, boy! Open your books and turn to P92. Read the tape script of 1b with your partner sentiently(有感情地). Learn how to give advice and compare qualities.

T: Time is up! Let’s practice the dialogue like 1b. You can look at the pictures.

Please ask your partner for some advice. Make conversations with these gifts. You can also create.  In two minutes, I will check you.

T: Let’s do more listening exercises. Listen to the tape and finish 2a and 2b. At first, look at 2a, in each conversation about gifts, who is the person shopping for? Put a check in the correct column. Are you ready? You will listen to it twice. Before listening, you must pay attention to the key words.(播放聽(tīng)力)

  Next is 2b. Listen again and write the suggestions and comments in the chart below. Let’s look at the suggestions first. Then look at your books and read out the comments. T: Stop, please! Let’s practice the dialogue like 2b. You can look at the pictures.

T: Let’s sum up! Study in groups! Six or four students a group. Please discuss how to give advice and how to give comments.

 Giving advice:(提供建議)

1.What about+n/代/doing?

2.How about +n/代/doing?

3.Why don’t you do…..? = Why not do sth ?

4. Maybe+statement(句子)( You should do…)

Giving comments:(給出評(píng)論)

(negative comments):

(1) That’s too expensive /cheap/boring/personal.

(2) That’s not special enough/creative enough/

interesting enough.

(positive comments):

(1) That’s a good  idea.

(2) That’s sounds good .

(3) He/She’ll like it / them /that.

T: Let’s do some exercises. Complete the sentences with the words’ correct forms.

T: Let’s do some speaking training. There are two students’ birthdays coming. Let’s have a surprise birthday party for them. You can choose only one student to make conversations with your partner. Three minutes later, I will check you.

T: It’s at the end of this class. In this class, we talk about gift giving and learn to care more about our moms. Moms are the greatest! Nothing can replace a mother’s love. When we meet our moms, why not say it aloud:

 I love you, mother! Say it together, please!
