Suppose individuals are not so talented but they intend to succeed, it is advisable for them to have passion and curiosity. Accordingly, when hearing Einstein’s remark “I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious” we can perceive its connotation. Apparently, this saying can be naturally associated with the significance of curiosity.
In our daily life, it is a common phenomenon for people to regard talents as the key to success in various fields. However, an increasing number of wise men find it more important to have curiosity, if they have no distinctive gifts. Two typical examples can be given: if students have no better ability in study, their curiosity helps them to acquire knowledge; if scientists have no talents in invention, their curiosity helps them to create and innovate. It is curiosity that enables them to build up adequate inspiration, power and motivation to pursue and explore. As a matter of fact, intelligent people in large numbers have come to realize the importance of curiosity.
As a college student, I am convinced that it is of great necessity for youngsters to maintain and enhance their curiosity for unknown things.
