在國外，像“shoppingmall”(購物中心)、“supermarket”(超市)、“plaza”(購物廣場)以及“departmentstore”(百貨商場)等等地方，除了大型商品、促銷的商品以及節(jié)假日降價的商品外，一般物品是不打折的，所以用不著砍價。但在“fleamarket”(跳蚤市場)、“bargain store”(廉價商店)、“yard sell”(后院甩賣)以及“movingsell”(搬家甩賣)時，所有商品都是可以砍價的，而且不用上稅。
以下是比較常見的與砍價相關的句子：
1、Hey, don't try to rip me off. I know what this is worth. 別想宰我，我識貨。
2、Can you give me a little deal on this? 這能賣得便宜一點嗎?
3、Can you give me this for cheaper? 能便宜一點給我嗎?
4、Is there any discount on bulk purchases? 我多買些能打折嗎?
5、Give me a discount. 給我打個折吧。
6、How much do you want for this? 這件東西你想賣多少錢?(賣主可能會反問你：How much do you want to pay for this?)
7、If you don't give me a better price, I won't buy this. 如果價格不更優(yōu)惠些，我是不會買的(a better price就是a cheaper price)。
8、I can get this cheaper at other places. 這樣東西我在別的地方可以買到更便宜的。
9、What's the lowest you're willing to go? 最低你能出什么價?
10、Could you go up a little? (如果是賣家)你能否多付一點?
11、Come on, give me a break on this. 別這樣，你就讓點兒價吧。
12、I like joining every battle for a haggle. 我喜歡參與殺價買賣露一手。
13、I am professional on this. 在這方面我很專業(yè)。
14、I know how much they cost for wholesale. 我知道這些的批發(fā)價格。
15、Come on, you can do better than this. 得了，你本來可以做得更好(言下之意：這個太差了)。
16、Hmmmm, I know, MADE IN CHINA. 嗯，我知道，中國制造(絕大多數中國制造的廉價商品，使用壽命都不是很長)。
17、You are so lucky if I pay for this. 如果我出了這個價錢，你就太幸運了。
18、Could you give me a discount? 能給我打個折扣嗎?
19、Is the price negotiable? 價錢可以商量嗎?
20、Could you give me a better deal? 可以給個更優(yōu)惠的價格嗎?
21、How about 200 dollars? 兩百塊錢怎么樣?
22、It's too expensive. I can't afford it. 太貴了，我買不起。
23、I've seen this cheaper (in) other places. 我在別家有看過更便宜的。
24、Lower the price, and I'll consider it. 價錢低點我再考慮考慮。
25、I'll give 100 dollars for it. 一百塊錢我就買。
26、That's steep, isn't it? 這價格太離譜了吧?
27、Sharpen your pencil, please. 再優(yōu)惠點吧?便宜點吧?
