It says Global Server, so i think the English website will be there soon.

Everyone out there know the potential of this game. Blizzard lost the game 10+ years ago, 5+ years is no longer the luxury in today's world. things are moving at the light speed. you can and Valve especially can create a team quickly and strike a deal with the original devs to get things moving.. They are losing out waiting months to get things started in this days and age... this was EXACTLY like how blizzard lost it by not getting into the next big thing.

The ones who might be at a loss here are the PC gamers like me who won't touch this crappy mobile stuff and eventually Drodo, if they decide to abandon the PC version.I suspect a large percent of the Dota players wont switch to this.

Valve did say they were in talks with him, maybe he wanted to work on his own. There's no reason the creator would want to give his work to valve if he can get all the success himself.

As a PC platform, you can't realistically expect Valve to create and dedicate a team solely to a new custom game that might end up being just a fad, much less come up with a standalone game in this period.
作為一個PC游戲平臺,指望V社為了一款自定義游戲去組建一只新的團隊是不太現(xiàn)實的,畢竟自走棋很可能只是曇花一現(xiàn),在這個時間點上推出獨立版自走棋對他們而言并沒有什么好處。

I admire your optimism but it was foolish of Valve to not acquire Auto Chess. Mid 2000's when Dota Allstars on Bnet and Garena was booming, no one could really predict the trajectory in which MOBA's (or gaming for that matter) would have taken. Million dollar competitions, professional gaming leagues, twitch.tv/streaming culture. I don't blame Blizzard for not taking the leap of faith but it was ultimately a mistake only in hindsight.

Valve had the numbers right in front of them. There was a serious fanbase growing behind Auto Chess and the amount of content of this 'custom game' you would find on YouTube and Twitch was astonishing. Dota 2 reached a new all-time concurrent peak strictly because of the birth of Auto Chess. The fact that popular Hearthstone personalities started to jump ship into Auto Chess was a testament on it's own. You really can't sugarcoat it enough... the numbers were right there in front of Valve's face and they were overthinking it. Auto Chess was a diamond in the rough for Valve -- almost like a second shot at redemption after the fiasco Artifact turned out to be. I can't say for those who enjoy playing Artifact but I wouldn't even be mad if Valve decided to completely scrap their card game and remade Artifact into their standalone Auto Chess mod.
一系列鐵打的數(shù)字已經(jīng)擺在了V社面前。Youtube和Twitch上自走棋這款“自定義游戲”的內(nèi)容已經(jīng)多到讓人瞠目結(jié)舌了。由于自走棋的誕生,dota2的在線人數(shù)也重新到達了頂峰?!稜t石傳說》中的一些知名玩家主播們也開始跳槽去玩自走棋了,這本身就是對自走棋受歡迎程度的一種證明。如今這些數(shù)字就擺在了V社面前,他們還是想太多了。自走棋對V社而言就是一顆未經(jīng)加工的磚石--在他們自己推出的a牌撲街以后,自走棋就仿佛是他們完成自我救贖的第二次機會。我無法替那些喜歡a牌的玩家們代言,但是如果V社決定完全放棄A牌,并用A牌的素材制作出一份獨立的自走棋游戲的話我是會完全贊同的。
I started playing Auto Chess on the day of its release with a high school friend who I grew up playing Dota Allstars on WC3 with. We both play a lot custom games on Dota 2 since we don't really queue up matchmaking anymore. We played from 10PM to 6AM. We were hooked. I remember making a remark during one of the matches saying that Auto Chess is going to become the custom game that is turned into a standalone game; similar to the likes how Dota was to Warcraft 3 and that we've come full circle where custom mods give birth to new titles.
在自走棋發(fā)布的那天,我就開始和一個高中朋友開始玩了。我們倆是在魔獸3的dota的陪伴下長大的。我們還在dota2上玩了其他很多自定義游戲,因為我們已經(jīng)不怎么玩排位模式了。我們從晚上10點一直玩到了第二天早上6點,這款游戲完全勾住了我們。我記得在其中一局比賽中我曾和他說過,自走棋這款自定義游戲終將會自立門戶,就仿佛dota2之于魔獸3。自定義游戲催生出一款全新游戲的循環(huán)在這一刻周而復(fù)始。

imo it is much easier for the chinese publishers to lure the developer.Basically, Drodo Studio got already paid off.
就我看來,中國的開發(fā)商能夠更加容易地招募自走棋開發(fā)小組,巨鳥多多工作室肯定已經(jīng)在數(shù)錢了。

Pretty sure Drodo are making the mistake here since this mobile stuff looks awful and they will lose a large percent of the Dota playerbase if they decide to go all in on their mobile version.
