“'圖像詩(shī)’(Graphic Poems）有著悠久的歷史，比如中國(guó)古代就有'寶塔詩(shī)’，而現(xiàn)代詩(shī)人很多也嘗試這種形式，中國(guó)有個(gè)詩(shī)人叫'尹才干’，專(zhuān)門(mén)寫(xiě)圖像詩(shī)，挺有意思。兩者合流，出現(xiàn)'圖片詩(shī)’也不令人驚訝?！保▍⒁?jiàn)光諸翻譯《你肯定想不到，我在馬戲團(tuán)里干什么》讀首詩(shī)再睡覺(jué)，2016年12月12日）文中對(duì)“21世紀(jì)中國(guó)圖像詩(shī)（圖形詩(shī)）代言人”尹才干的圖像詩(shī)對(duì)美國(guó)廣大讀者的影響給予了肯定。文章還說(shuō)，“最近這種詩(shī)在美國(guó)很流行，《詩(shī)歌雜志》的網(wǎng)站（poetryfoundation）上突然冒出來(lái)很多首這種詩(shī)?！边@說(shuō)明圖像詩(shī)這種詩(shī)歌藝術(shù)形式，很受美國(guó)讀者歡迎和喜愛(ài)，并在中國(guó)詩(shī)人尹才干圖像詩(shī)的基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行了新的探索創(chuàng)新，將詩(shī)歌語(yǔ)言與圖片有機(jī)結(jié)合起來(lái)，構(gòu)成“圖片詩(shī)”。
"Graphic poems have a long history. For example, there were pagoda poems in ancient China, and many modern poets also tried this form. There is a Chinese poet named Yin Caigan, who specializes in writing image poems, which is very interesting. It is not surprising that the two merge and appear 'picture poems'." (see Guangzhu's translation "you can't imagine what I'm doing in the circus", reading a poem before going to bed, December 12, 2016). The article affirms the influence of Yin Caigan's image poem, the spokesman of "Chinese image poem (Graphic poem) in the 21st century", on American readers. "These poems have become very popular in the United States recently, and many of them have suddenly appeared on the Poetry Foundation website," the article said This shows that image poetry, a poetic art form, is very popular and loved by American readers. It has made new exploration and innovation on the basis of Chinese poet Yin Caigan's image poetry, and organically combined the poetic language with pictures to form "image poetry".

Since then, Chinese poet Yin Caigan has successively answered questions about Chinese image poetry from foreign students in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy and other countries. In 2019, Dr. Li Li of the Chinese University of Hong Kong answered a series of questions about Chinese image poetry.
