Last Sunday witnessed an extraordinary cross-country running race, which nearly drew the attention of every student and teacher of our school.
The students selected from every class took part in the competition. The route measured five kilometers, from our school gate to the foot of Nanshan Mountain. Every runner tried their best to finish the task, with their classmates along the way giving them necessarily help as well as encouragement. At last, all the runners managed to arrive the finish line, receiving cheers from all the directions.
The activity was highly spoken of, because not only did it provide chance for us to exercise, but also made us more cohesive.

An Impressive Mountain-Claiming
Inorder to help us students to keep fit and promote wills, our school organized a mountain-climbing on Aprial 10 and we recieved much fun and benefit.
Itwas a nice day, the sunlight warm and soft.At round 9 a.m., we gatheredat the foot of Daqing Mountain in high spirits, well-equipped for the tough journey to thedestination-the top of the mountaiin. Despite the hardship, we were singing and laughing allthe way, enjoying the the fresh air and the beautiful views. When some students fell behind orgot into trouble, others would come to their aid. At around 11 a.m., we all arrived at thesummit of Daqing Mountain. Bathed in the sunshine, we jumped and cheered with great joy.
Thisoutdoors activity is really impressive and beneficial. Not only did it get us closer to thenature and relieve pressure form us, it also promote the friendship among us.
