根據(jù)新加坡教育部在小學(xué)新生登記入學(xué)時(shí)所做的調(diào)查，新加坡講華語的家庭自上世紀(jì)90年代以來便一直減少，到了今天只剩下約40％的家庭仍以華語作為主要用語，反之講英語的家庭卻從1990年的26％增至今年的60％。為了改變?nèi)A語地位下降的趨勢，新加坡華語理事會(huì)從3月30日起推出“華文，誰怕誰”大挑戰(zhàn)活動(dòng)，通過有趣的問答游戲，讓新加坡公民以及永久居民親身參與，感受中華文化的博大精深，深化他們對(duì)華文華語的認(rèn)識(shí)，并進(jìn)一步提升他們的華語掌握能力。這個(gè)活動(dòng)將持續(xù)3個(gè)月，每個(gè)月的積分前六名的新加坡人將參加面試，最后選出6人參加在7月份舉行的電視總決賽。

第一周“華文，誰怕誰”的12個(gè)具有挑戰(zhàn)性的測試題如下，各位試試看，我覺得有些題對(duì)中國人而言難度系數(shù)也不小。附上英文版，順便也來個(gè)“英文，誰怕誰”：

這十二道題考的還不完全是漢語和中國文化，有些題純屬新加坡文化，對(duì)中國人來說當(dāng)然很陌生，比如第6題（新加坡藝術(shù)家郭寶崑的作品）。其他的題目有的很容易，也有的相當(dāng)生僻。主辦方給出的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)答案附在后面，供各位參考。其中第9題（西方哪一個(gè)傳說與“何不食肉糜”類似），答案是法國路易十六的王后瑪麗?安托瓦內(nèi)特對(duì)饑餓的法國人所說的 "那就改吃蛋糕嘛"（Let them eat cake）。這句話的法語原文是qu'ils mangent de la brioche，brioche應(yīng)該是“面包”而非“蛋糕”（cake）。這只是一個(gè)民間傳說而已，渲染這位王后的驕奢與愚鈍。關(guān)于瑪麗?安托瓦內(nèi)特，還有另外一個(gè)有名的傳說，當(dāng)她在法國大革命中走上斷頭臺(tái)時(shí)不小心踩到劊子手的腳，她以貴族的優(yōu)雅習(xí)慣地：Monsieur， je vous demande pardon. Je ne l'ai pas fait exprès (先生，我請(qǐng)求您的原諒，我不是故意的)。
