10月,在新加坡舉行的為期三天的2014世界建筑節(jié)中對(duì)之前已入圍的300多個(gè)項(xiàng)目進(jìn)行了評(píng)選，所有單項(xiàng)已決出獲獎(jiǎng)作品，來(lái)自越南的事務(wù)所（Vo Trong Nghia Architects）一舉斬獲29個(gè)單項(xiàng)中的3項(xiàng)。而一些大的事務(wù)所則表現(xiàn)不佳。
如扎哈·哈迪德的香港理工賽馬會(huì)創(chuàng)新樓、韓國(guó)東大門設(shè)計(jì)廣場(chǎng)及奧地利維也納經(jīng)濟(jì)大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)中心和圖書(shū)館均未能獲獎(jiǎng)，其它像福斯特、OMA、KPF、帕金斯威爾、Aedas等大設(shè)計(jì)單位均未能折桂一二。
來(lái)自中國(guó)的如恩設(shè)計(jì)（Neri&Hu）則是憑借“田子坊私宅”（Rethinking the Split House）獲得了新舊建筑單項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)。BIG的丹麥國(guó)家海事博物館（Danish Maritime Museum）則獲得了文化建筑單項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)。
